Stony Point broke a 2-2 tie with 7 second-inning runs on the way to a 15-5 victory and a second consecutive Billy Kayser Memorial Tournament title. Justin Olivo paced SP with 3 hits (2 doubles and a triple), 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Leadoff man Daniel Higgins had a double, single and scored twice. Carmine Squillante, Sean McGuiness, Aiden Knerr and Shane Caravano also had big hits for SP. West Nyack’s Nicholas Mandio had a hit and scored two runs. Vincent Fraino also had a hit and scored a run, and Christian Heanue and Michael Kaweblum scored the other WN runs. This was Stony Point’s fifth championship in the 15-year history of the Kayser Tournament, more than any other team.
